Only transactional sales data, orders, items, totals, and payment types. We never receive customer names, credit card numbers, or any identifying information, and our connections are read-only, meaning we can't change anything in your data.

How we handle your data.
We believe you should know exactly how your business data is used, stored, and protected. Click below to read our full data privacy commitments.
Flumen acts as a data processor on behalf of Client, who remains the data controller of their business information. Flumen will require read-only access to Client's point-of-sale transaction data solely for the purpose of providing the agreed services.
- Flumen will access only the minimum data necessary to deliver the agreed services. No identifying, personal, or confidential customer data will ever be accessed or processed, including but not limited to customer names, contact details, payment card numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
- Transaction data accessed by Flumen will be used solely for the purpose of generating analytics and reports for Client and for no other purpose.
- Client data will never be sold, shared, or disclosed to any third party without explicit written consent from Client.
Flumen will store anonymized transaction data on secured, access-controlled servers protected by encryption and firewall controls, hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure. DigitalOcean acts as a subprocessor and stores data in accordance with their published security standards.
Flumen maintains reasonable technical safeguards including encrypted storage, access controls, and regular automated backups. Upon request, Flumen will provide Client with a written summary of the security measures in place to protect their data.
Flumen operates in compliance with the Colorado Privacy Act and applicable U.S. data protection regulations. In the event of a confirmed data breach affecting Client data, Flumen will notify Client within 72 hours of discovery.
Flumen's liability for data loss or breach is limited as described in the service agreement. Flumen is not liable for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure failures.
All Client data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of termination of the service agreement, regardless of whether a deletion request is made. Flumen does not retain any client data beyond active service relationships.
